About Me

Being a small business owner is tough, you wear many hats every day and it can be soul destroying when you do not get the results you dream of.

It is so noisy too and what do you do if you are not the loudest person in the room? I get it, the ones that make it sound like they are the best thing since sliced bread, may be taking up space but they may not even be as successful as you.

It doesn't mean that you're not allowed to speak up. It doesn't mean that you haven't got valid things to say. It doesn’t mean you have to just sit and listen.

Instead finding out what works best for you so when you speak so your people listen.

Exactly the reason why I am so passionate to show you there is a way to create demand for what you do so customers approach you to buy. And most importantly, tailored to you and your business (no cookie cutters or one size fits all here).

To choose how to do it in a way you are comfortable with. Finding out how you want to serve your customers so they will walk over hot coals to buy from you.

Where you choose the marketing channels that best suit you, so just like Lady Gaga selects from her 18 cars every day, you get to do the same on how you communicate with your audience.

It is why everything I do is done face to face because that suits me. Because it means I can connect with each and every person and help everyone, to tailor to your specific business. Where noone is left behind, as I am beside you the whole time.

I set up my business like that from the beginning but it wasn’t by design.

You see I went from corporate marketeer to entrepreneur, where being a business owner was never the plan.

From no start up investment or experience of running a small business, to being a successful owner today, it is a pleasure to show you how, using proven processes, tools and techniques from working with big brands for over 25 years, you can achieve small business success using big brand thinking.

Ah, My Hero

Ah first meet my hero, my grandad who taught me 3 things which I still live by today. I remember he would put on his three piece suit and pork pie hat every day and go off to the bookies.

Every day he would remind me of 3 things that were most important: 1. treat every day as a gift, 2. laugh until it hurts and 3. do what you love to do.

These became my 3 mantras and who knew how important they would become.

Fast forward and I ended up with an economics degree, which traditionally results in banking or accountancy, I know how thrilling that prospect was. Well who knew, because it turns out quite thrilling. I worked for major banks, focusing on working with their big brand clients. I could be with Asda one day, Selfridges the next, then Marriott, Peugeot and Harvey Nichols. So it turned out, I loved working in corporate marketing.

My Training Ground

How often do you have a career where you build amazing teams, work with fabulous big brands and the best creative agencies. Then one day I found myself with a big fancy title, Managing Director, and the constant three hour committee meetings that went with it.

So much to the shock of everyone around me, I walked away and guess what, set up my own small business.

And how amazing that those 25 years in corporate marketing with all those big brands was the training ground for what I do today. Because I use all the proven processes, tools and techniques I used with those big brands to help small businesses grow now.

My Mission

So with no experience of ever running a small business and no start up investment to building a successful entrepreneur where customers approach me to work with them.

Because I use all the proven processes, tools and techniques I used with those big brands to help small businesses grow now.

To create demand for what you do so customers approach you. And the reason I use a pink flamingo as my icon….to show you how you can stand out in a flock of grey pigeons too.

To forge your own lane because you stand out.
